Thank you so much for your support.
Thank you so much for your support.
The following photo is a some of your donations.
Thank you so much.
This is paper toilet sand.
I am going to bring these to our shelter, where 100s of cats are living.
One person sent it in a rice bag, which is very strong.

Then this is our shelter.
Thank you so much for such a big claw sharpener.
Marble climbs the top of Mt.Fuji!

Tenten loves it and doesn’t want to share.

This is his brother Nuts.

Finally, it is your turn, Rin.

We received so much of it.
We can put it in each room.
Thank you so much.
I went to look at the room upstairs.
Then wow!

Oscar, who was rescued in Okuma, Fukushima, is on the cat tower.
He was so tense and angry all the time.
I was worried because didn’t even go to the toilet.
But he is in the middle of the room!
You could be friendly?

Air conditioning will be set on the 12th.
Then we’ll make the shelf bigger to make them comfortable.
I’ll use your donations for it.
Thank you so much!

Set the ventilating fan for the animal shelter.
This is the first floor of the animal shelter. Our animal shelter is a 3 floor house. The second the third floors are full. The first floor will be full soon.

As we have so many cats, a regular cat toilet is not enough. Instead of that, we use a plastic clothes case. But the smell is strong. It was a difficult situation for both volunteers and cats.

Then I bought a ventilating fan, and asked a carpenter to set it. This fan is great! Of course, I tried to be considerate about protecting our neighbors from unpleasant odors.

This is the second floor. We set the same kind of fan here. It looks very nice.

There are so many toilets. But the fan gets rid of the smell problem.

I thank you so much for your support for the toilet sand. Now we have 95 cats in the shelter. Combined with TNR Japan Animal Welfare Hospotal, it's a total of 180 cats! Sometimes we cut newspaper by shredder to use in toilets. They use amazing amounts of it. Cats always want clean toilets. Your support helps us a lot.

New Animal Shelter is going step by step.
New Animal Shelter is going step by step. Thank you so much for your help!!
Look at this wonderful cat tower and cage. This is a part of your support. As usual, I don’t make phone calls to offer my thanks. But thank you so much. The cats will love it.
Here is the second floor of the new shelter. On the their floor, there are already 20 cats in residence. Soon it will increase, more and more.

A volunteer for the new shelter has been volunteering for Fujimi park for over 5 years. There are also new volunteers. For a while, at least 2 volunteers per day will take care of the cats. Some of them have never had cats.
The volunteers work briskly, one after another. It is difficult for me to even go up the stairs, and I feel almost useless when I visit there, but I go anyway, out of support for the project.
Wao!! Amazing!!

The room is full of handmade cardboard houses!

Soon

Another 30 cats will move in. Then it will be 50 cats as our first step.
New volunteers are always welcome! You don’t have to have experience with pets. Also young students are welcome. I really hope young people can grow up taking care of pets. If you are a housewife, we can adjust the schedules so that it won't interfere with your work at home.

The new animal shelter has started.
Cats are moving to the new shelter. It takes a time but it’s getting better and better, with help from the volunteers.

I say “volunteer”, but it can be a man from a family who received our cats doing heavy work, or a tall veterinarian from TNR Japan Animal Welfare Hospital doing something that requires height, etc. Today a family who received our cats came to help us. They brought a cat tower which they don’t use anymore. The shelter room is becoming more and more fun.

New shelter “Animal House”.
The construction work is going well. As I don’t have much budget, for now the construction work is restricted to minimum requirements. Later on we will devise the rest with the volunteers. If anyone can offer cooperation with some home carpentry, please contact us.
